Known for his unorthodox faceoff style and high level of athleticism, John Ortolani adds a different flavor to The FaceOff Club. The former Endicott College standout was a perennial fixture on the All-New England roster, earning those honors 3 times. He has continued to rip up the competition after college, making the 2008 All-Vail team.
"Orto" will take his skills to Major League Lacrosse this summer for his hometown Boston Cannons.
Ortolani enjoys coaching aspiring faceoff specialists and turning them into ground ball machines. He uses his experience in wrestling and jiu jitsu to teach players the benefits of balance, footwork, and low center of gravity.
